Privacy Policy
Welcome to Arrowly. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application handles user data, permissions, and advertising services. Arrowly is built with an offline-first philosophy to ensure an enjoyable and respectful user experience.
1. Summary & Core Principles
Offline-First Gameplay: You can play, generate, and complete puzzle levels without an active internet connection. Your board configurations, game steps, and moves are processed entirely locally on your device and are never transmitted to any server.
2. Information We Collect and Process
Arrowly does not collect personally identifiable information (such as your real name, physical address, phone number, or contacts). The data processed by our app falls into the following categories:
- Local Game Progress: Your current level number, remaining lives, earned rewards, unlocked themes, and custom board settings are saved locally on your device using a local database.
- Google Play Games Services (Optional): If you choose to sign in with your Google Play Games account, your current level number is backed up to Google's secure cloud service to let you restore or sync your progress across devices. We process only your public Play Games player ID and display name provided by Google.
- Advertising Identifiers & Diagnostics (AdMob): Arrowly is supported by Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). The AdMob SDK may collect and process device identifiers (including the Google Advertising ID / GAID), diagnostic logs, IP address (for general geolocation), and interaction data to serve and measure advertisements.
3. Device Permissions Used

Arrowly integrates verified third-party SDKs provided by Google. These third-party services operate under their own privacy policies:
- Google AdMob: Serves banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads. Learn more at Google Ads Privacy & Terms.
- Google User Messaging Platform (UMP): Manages GDPR/EEA and UK privacy consent choices.
- Google Play Games Services: Handles achievements, gamer profile sign-in, and cloud save synchronization. Learn more at Google Privacy Policy.
5. User Consent & Privacy Options (GDPR & CCPA/CPRA)
In accordance with European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other international privacy frameworks:
- Consent Form: Users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom are presented with a Google-certified consent management form (UMP) upon launching the app to choose their ad personalization preferences.
